Stock
Scan incoming POs to your store. Pick this MacBook Neo's store once — selection is remembered until you tap the wordmark to change it. (Normally the device is already pinned to its store by a manager, so this picker never appears.)
Gorilla Vapes Ops · stock.gorillavapes.co.uk
Tap a card to begin. The Bible (top-right) explains every step — read it once before asking anyone for help.

Tap a PO to start scanning the delivery into stock. Each successful scan increments that line's received count. The "What happens next" panel inside the PO explains exactly what the system writes.
These are transfers this store has been asked to pack and dispatch to another GV store. Tap one to begin scanning.
Stock arriving from another GV store. Tap one to scan units in. If anything's short or over, flag it — the manager signs that off.
Counts a section (a shelf / category) or the whole floor. Nothing is written to stock until a manager reviews the variance and approves it.
Faulty items live in the faulty box with their receipt and original box — never the rubbish. Till returns appear below automatically: tap the item, tap what's wrong with it, done. Shelf or delivery damage: scan it in at the bottom.
Nothing waiting.
Empty.
Scan a product barcode (unit bottle or outer carton). The system replies with the live count at every Gorilla Vapes store. Read-only — nothing here can change stock.
Pick a collection (and optionally a vendor) to narrow the queue. Scan a unit barcode to load the SKU on the right, scan the outer carton to save its pack barcode. Writes Shopify's custom.pack_barcode metafield + the internal mirror.
Ready. Scan a unit barcode or tap a row in the queue to load it.
Every scan is looked up first — if it matches an existing SKU's unit barcode in the current filter, we switch to that SKU. Anything that doesn't match becomes the pack barcode for the loaded SKU.
Pick a collection above to load the queue. Vendor is optional — combine both to narrow further.
Add a brand's NEW packaging barcode alongside the old one. The OLD barcode stays as-is — the till keeps selling by it. Pick a collection, load a SKU by scanning its existing/old barcode (or tap a row), then scan the new unit and/or new box barcode. Each scan saves to Shopify (retail + Distro Trade) and is logged against your name.
Ready. Scan an existing (old) barcode to load the SKU, or tap a row in the queue.
Pick a collection above to load the queue. Vendor is optional — combine both to narrow further.
This Bible opens on every login. It's short. Every screen you'll use is covered here, including how to use the scanner. After this you should not need to ask a colleague how to do the basics — the answers are below.
The Socket Mobile D740 is already paired with this MacBook Neo as a Bluetooth keyboard wedge — there is nothing to set up. When you open any of the four function pages and click one of its items (a PO, a transfer, a stocktake), the cursor lands in the scan field for you.
That's correct. Your sign-in is locked to your store. Only managers see every store. If you genuinely need to see another store's data, get a manager.
You get 5 attempts before a 15-minute lockout. If you've forgotten it, ask a manager to issue a new temporary PIN from the admin panel — you'll be asked to change it on first login.
Clean the camera / handheld lens. Try again. If it still won't read, the product needs its barcode loaded into Shopify — flag it with a manager. Don't type a count to "fix" it.
Almost every screen has a Back arrow. Scans can be reduced from the line. A dispatched transfer / completed receipt is final though — those need manager intervention.
You tried to open something that belongs to another store. That's by design — go back to Home.
